Unhappy Barclays Essensial saving Lloyds TSB current, Lloyds Saving account all rejected!

I appied ebay and paypal account according to the stealth guide, but when it comes to verify the bank account, all my newly applied bank accounts were rejected and removed by paypla after I enter the two smaill deposit on my bank accounts. they included Barclays savings, Lloyds current and savings. Paypal send me an email :

Dear ***

The mandate from your bank account, ending in ****, was returned by your bank on 23 Jul 2010 for the reason below:

The bank is disputing the Direct Debit Instruction (DDI).

As a result, this bank account has been removed from your PayPal account. Please contact your bank for more information or add a new bank account. Please do not contact PayPal because this is entirely an issue between the account holder and their bank.[/COLOR]

anyone here could help me on how to solve this issue???HLEP!!!!
Thank you!!!!!!!

Are you saying you added 3 bank account to one paypal account , Suerly not.

or have 3 separate paypal accounts done this ?

I got an email kida like this one the other week on a legit account, but it was to tell me a withdrawal from paypal had been rejected by the bank becuase of a mandate something or other, The funny thing is the cash was in the bank and still in paypal ,i added another card and withdrew, thats right you guessed it two for the price of one.

Just open and add another account

The bank account you add should be valid for direct debit.
Please try Natwest current, or RBS current. They will work.
You can also search on the forum to find more bank accounts
that works to verify Paypal. There are many threads talking about this topic.

Most Saving account wont work because they cannot do direct debit.

I asked barclays staff about if their saving can do direct debit and they said yes and also one person can apply more then one savings with them. Maybe they told me the wrong information.

How could you not have read that a bank account in UK needs to have the Direct Debit mandate.

Did you read anywhere to stay away from lloyds?

Did you think and ask before you made bank accounts here what are the better banks to use

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/subscri...-end-list.html

Half way done 1st page, UK banks are mentioned. 99% up-to-date

There are other choices. Your question about banks 'seeing' is a grey area. Yes, it is on a report that a person has applied for accounts. It's not a bad mark per se.

If you are using multiple accounts you might consider picking x2 banks that allow you more than one account

OHThank you!!
I didnt read that thread before. It is strange that 1700 limit was still removed even if I used barclays saver account and paypal said can't set up direct debit.
why is that? There is no limit any more on my paypal but the it still show bank account not confirmed.
Is it ok not confirm the bank accout?

1700 limit has nothing to do with bank account in UK, you must have done location verifcation to remove it.

the bank needs to be a regular current account, avoid savers

Maybe because I used a totally different name from the Lloyds TSB bank account. It does not work for me. now My paypal still shows bank account not confirmed. Can I leave bank account not confirmed?? Now this paypal does not have limit, If I could, I hope I can use this paypal now without add another current account.

You are using a savings account to get Verified. The DD mandate was rejected, but you will find your PayPal account is now Verified.

G/TEED

I'm becoming more inclined to think it's nosy/unexperienced bank staff with nothing better to do than question these transactions .
