send out confirmation/acknowledgement letts on a recorded mail/registered mail basis, which gives you a tracking number and give that to paypal to remove the hold...

I don't think you can avoid it completely. But you CAN get it removed. My average item is $100 or so. I use Endicia. So adding the tracking number only costs an additional 19 cents per package. Therefore, I always use it.

If you get good feedback and always enter tracking numbers, they will most likely lift the 21 day holding period after 30-60 days. One account had it lifted in 48 hours.

The 21 day period is a pain, I'll admit, but many merchant accounts are now requiring a "rolling reserve" anyway. So nothing is perfect. Once you have a sales history you should be good to go. Unless you have a high level of complaints, refunds, chargebacks, negative feedback, etc.

You Cannot get around the Hold, as your Paypal accounts Matures and after some consistant time Selling and Fufilling Orders Paypal will remove the Limitation on their own.

In the Meantime the fastest way to lift the limit is to Provide tracking numbers for EACH Sale in Paypal, Not Ebay (Much faster) and to get positive feedback from as many of your buyers as possible.

Plus I find that letting an account sleep with good fb/dsr's, then out of the blue blasting the acc with 30 to 50 listings wakes the watchers up sometimes.

Obvious answer is dont use paypal & that's said with a lot of sarcasm.

Here's some gems for you.
Never have believed an ebay/paypal account should race into selling.
Firing up a new paypal account and having it receive funds, makes paypal nervous. They only see a risk and that means holds.

Changing your approach to customer service and improving your account will reduce the holds. What you sell by volume of money will effect the account.

Here's a cryptic statement. An auto does not run on an empty tank of fuel

See if you can work that gem out Lyar:

Hey, can I do like this to avoid payment hold by paypal? :

Firstly, receive payment from ebay selling, then get hold by paypal. After that, refund the buyer and ask him to send the payment directly to my paypal account for the purpose of 'payment owed' or anything else except for 'ebay item'.

Will paypal still hold the payment?

Theres no way around the holds. You just need to practice good selling and customer service to buyers ad usual. Paypal is supposed to live up to releasing funds once positive feedback is left or 3 days after item is delivered. They have no been keeping up their side of the deal and still holding payments.
