Default No bank or ssn just card on file?

I'm preparing to create my first few ebay/pp stealth accounts, just had a quick question before I start to be prepared. I'm not going to be adding bank accounts or ssn to the stealth pp accounts, I'm just going to use gift cards on file.

Anyone have experience selling around $10-$20 with no bank or ssn on file? How long does it take for it to get limited until they start asking for ssn, id, etc? To withdraw the money I will send it to a legit paypal. Has anyone had success doing it this way? Thanks

Could take 5 mins, could take longer. Read a lot more B4 you even think of transferring from stealth to real. Recommendation is to create a verified paypal account. That means a bank account needs to be sorted.

users here do claim to sell like that. Same users get limited. Defeats the advice of the forum

I'm not going to read about your accounts being limited because you've raced into doing something.
As I said in my welcome post, organize and plan. It meas you need to prepare much better :
Most dangerous word for you is LINK. Whatever else you do, wait b4 you race into making stealth accounts.

You're going too fast too soon and the incorrect way. That daily 100 might turn out to be limitations and suspensions

Your Paypal Account will not last Long at all, it depends more on the Items that you are Selling. You also risk the Paypal Account that you intend to send the money to. Why don't you simply attach a Bank account to your Paypal, its not that hard. If the items you intend to sell are that "Sketchy" sending the money to a Legit Paypal account will not protect you.

Right, if you need some tips on creating bank accounts, send me a PM.

It's what you need. And as mentioned already, sending money from one PayPal account to another is a sure way to link accounts and have everything limited.

Take your time, read up more and then take action.

Good luck!

Guys are right, sorry for the noobish question. I thought it was going to be easy to make tons of accounts with out banks, but further reading it doesn't look hard to open multiple checking accounts to verify them.

Have you guys opened checking accounts online lets say from bank of America and chase? Is there a difference from online and going to the bank itself? And when opening bank accounts use real names correct? What about opening multiple checking accounts. Can i open let's say 3 with chase and 3 with BOA within a week? Thanks!

Basic difference is shoe-leather and your time

On my UK accounts I did go into the branch to start. Had a twofold advantage, I got to 'meet' a staff member. That proved useful with paypal problems.

For USA, it's a couple of clicks and you've made a bank account. Your plan will help you decide how many to open.

I swear by Bank of America. I've had a credit card with them for a few years, and just recently opened checking accounts with them.

They have a combo business and personal checking package available that costs nothing per month if you make some purchases with your debit card. Two accounts for the price of one.

Everything can be done online.

Best of all, when I spoke with a rep, he asked me if I needed any more business accounts. I innocently asked him "you mean people have more than one?" He replied that YES, it is VERY COMMON for a business owner to have several checking accounts, since it separates activity for tax purposes.

Not to mention, d/b/a's are no problem with them. Some banks do not want to open a business account for you unless you are a formal corporation or an LLC. Both of those cost money to file, and then you have a paperwork hassle to deal with. Using a d/b/a usually costs very little and requires filing a form with your County Assessor's office.

Since the income from a d/b/a is simply reported on your regular tax return, there are not nearly as many filing requirements to deal with. Since LLC's and Corporations are considered legal entities, each must file a tax return each year.

Yes. Lying to a bank about anything is VERY ILLEGAL. So always use your real info. Either get a UPS store address and use that with PayPal and your bank, or use your home address with your bank a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one with PayPal, and a virtual credit card to verify the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address with PayPal.

For extra safety, file a d/b/a in the name of a person and put that on your business account. Sound weird? Ed Hardy, Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, etc. all use them.

No. They can't. But if you use the debot card attached to the account, they can match on the DIGITS of the address and the ZIP code.

So, if the address is:

123 Main St
Anytown USA, 98765

They can verify that the street address number is 123 and the ZIP is 98765.

That applies to the address listed to ANY credit or debit card.

Let me know if I got it right,

I will be doing the following

Paypal - ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address
bank - real name, real address
giftcard (visa vanilla) - ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, match street name, numbers and zipcode to paypal

example
paypal - John Doe, 1122 BLAH st, Los Angeles, Ca 92704 (made up name/street name)
bank - James Smith, 2234 Magic St, Los Angeles, Ca 92704 (real name/address)
giftcard - John Doe, 1122 BLAH st, Los Angeles, Ca 92704 (made up name/street name)

Is this correct? Thanks

Yes that will Work, I Personally would just make sure that I Used an Address that I actually have acess to, like renting a "Box" from the local ups store.
you will find it useful if you ever get a Buyer that needs to return something.

But it is by no means required, I Personally just Prefer it that way.

1000% agree. Back in the day, phake addresses were the thing. accounts could be made 3 a dime ( or 2 a penny for those across the pond). Nowdays it is a tad harder to make viable accounts. Having a real address associated with the stealth you allows the account to work better. There'll always be a buyer that wants to return an item. Saves the grief of the item going to the local tip.

More importantly saves the user coming here with the thread title
urgent help!!!!!!!!!!I need to know what to do because the buyer wants to return the crown jewels and the address is phake help urgent!!!!!!!
I go drink coffee when I see that sort of stuff.
Away now

note to self: ask aspkin if 'urgent' & 'help' can be struck out as words in thread titles LOL
