Is it ok to add the bank account on the day that im requesting payment? or must i add it when i create the account
No, it's not ok to do this. Doing so on the day you request disbursement will make Amazon put a hold on your funds for another 10 days...or maybe 14, I'm not sure. But, whenever you change your banking info you cannot disburse for 10 or 14 days after that. However, when you first start your sellers account you can change your bank info within the first 7 days and still be able to disburse on time after day 14. The way I do it is start out with my pp credit card. You can sell with just that info. There will be a message on Amazon saying that, but also saying that they need your checking account info to disburse. You can add your checking info immediately, or wait 2 or 3 days. I would add it pretty quickly to make sure you can disburse on time after the initial 14 day hold.
You need to wait 14 days after you add the bank for the first time. If you change bank, you have to wait 7 days. Period.
Add it when you create the account and let the clock start counting down.
Everyone else is wrong or telling an un-truth or making up their stories just to be popular.
If you go under review, your money is on hold even after you provide the info, until the review is over. They don't release it immediately upon receiving your info.
No dude. I'll quote you below. That's what you wrote. Completely incorrect and completely different than what I wrote. Perhaps you simply mis-posted. I dunno. But if other users actually took your words as fact, it would cause them problems.
Sorry if that puts you in a bad light. Not my intention. My motive is to prevent others from getting in a jam because they took the wrong advice. Maybe you should edit your earlier post.

When the Routing Number + Acc Nr is in their system i can immediatly disburse the money.
So u dont need to wait, when u type in the information the first time!
I do that since 1 year, and Amazon put NEVER my money on hold, because i give them the Accountinformation, when they ask for them!
there is NO waiting time, when your first 14 days are over and u have NO Bank Account in your Account. WRONG.
So
"You need to wait 14 days after you add the bank for the first time. If you change bank, you have to wait 7 days. Period."
IS TOTALLY WRONG IS TOTALLY RIGHT
So everyone CAN add his bank account after the 14 days the first time! Sure, can add whenever. But must wait 14 days more after the bank is first added.
And can disburse the money directly! So need to wait any 7 days! WRONG
This is a fact and is provable with over 50 Accounts. Simply and bluntly put, you lie.
i just had an account get off the 14 day hold and i added a deposit account after the 14 days. on the 15th day i disbursed funds and i got them 3 days later. you dont have to wait 7 days. thats just after you change the deposit account. its confusing i know but amazon should clarify that. i disbursed money right after i added an account after 14 days
I have an Amazon Stealth account and I used ready debit which is with meta bank. Well, I got my first deposit from amazon on Monday of course bank acct different than my name. I got a from ready debit about my deposits, so I called her bank. Ready debit tells me she would need a valid id and a letter from the person the deposits are coming in under. Remember this is a stealth acct. So my question is what prepaid or giftcards works the best with amazon. Second question is if I which my bank account on amazon being this acct is only 3 weeks old( It will be 30 days on August 2nd) will it raise a red flag? I have sold 9 products for 330.00 and I have 3 positive feedback. The next date to release my money from amazon is August 6th?
When do you HAVE to add a bank account? If you go in with the assumption you are going to get shut down eventually, can you just wait until you are shut down and then add a bank account and withdrawal your money after the 90 days?
Yes - if you feel you are going to get shut down, wait the 90 days. I have currently couple of accounts in this "business model" so I am waiting to use one account to withdraw all. You can use the same bank account. I just don't want to burn a bank account on a good account that goes bad.
