Default A paymate question or 2???

I'm thinking of using Paymate instead of paypal as it's about to get limited.

Is paymate like paypal in as far as them not being able to see your real name on your bank account?
I did have a paymate account but they closed it because a customer complained and I haven't bothered with it since, that was last year sometime.
So I'd like to open a paymate account using the same info I'm already using for ebay and paypal. Is this possible???

You need real info to open Paymate - last time I checked. I will say upfront that I haven't explored that since Canada doesnt have access to it.

But - once you open it - you can operate stealth accounts with it. A good follow-up question of mine is if ebay accounts goes down, can paymate account be changed to accommodate new ebay account? I doubt it but maybe clarity will help.

Why did they suspend it because of 1 dispute? What did you do? I believe if the info is suspended then you may not be able to use that same info when opening another account.

I had asked paymate to refund a buyer and asked them how do this as there isn't any clear method that I could figure out in my paymate account, unlike paypal. I emailed them about 5 times and all of their responses were that they had received my email and would get back to me. In the end the buyer contacted paymate and before I knew it paymate closed my account. I know part of the issue was refunding their fees, apparently they don't like to that.
If I can't use the same info, how can I open another account.

I have successfully opened a new paymate account and linked it to my ebay account, so far so good.
Can I revise current listings to include paymate? Or do I need to do it with new listings?

Just for anyone else who may be wondering the same thing, you can revise a current listing to remove paypal and add paymate.

I'm not sure about using stealth info, I used real info without a problem.
And you still have to use either paypal or paymate as a payment method on ebay.au
And one good thing about using paymate, is that you can select that the buyer pays the fees.
Not sure how many buyers would be willing to do that though, but it's a good option if you are selling very high demand items.
You have to have at least 10 positive feedback as a seller to use paymate on ebay.

I noticed the same, but with paypal asking questions and at risk of being frozen, it's a better option.
Anyone had paypal ask for previous addresses?

Why not to include 2 payment options, Paypal and Paymate? But to state in the auction that members who pay through Paymate are eligible to 5% off or free shipping?
