Having said that, they DO sometimes purchase their client's products from eBay and/or Amazon sellers to determine if the set is counterfeit.
If they do this to you, and you sold a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ set, they most likely WILL file a lawsuit against you. If they have evidence that you sold LOTS AND LOTS of them, they could try to convince a government prosecutor to file a criminal case against you.
However, they also send lots of mail (regular letters) to people selling their clients' products when no purchase has been made. Many of the people receiving them just wanted to sell their legitimate used set that they no longer use. These letters just demand money and that you stop selling them.
Bottom line is, I would not even try to sell a LEGITIMATE used copy online. Too many potential problems. DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT AN ATTORNEY AND THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE. IF YOU NEED LEGAL ADVICE, PLEASE SEEK THE SERVICES OF A LICENSED ATTORNEY. |
