Default Policy compliance changed in one day

I recieved a policy violation in six months ago , so I did not use that account for 6 months.

I reused it because I found my policy compliance is high.

after I listed some brand name items, my policy compliance is low now.

because ebay said" Policy violations that are older than 90 days are not displayed here, but are still considered in determining your status"

It is still safe to use this account???

Trust your instinct.
It depends on the brand name you are selling also.
If you can tell us which brand name, it'll help.

Just don't go too crazy on the account.

Hmmm.... I'd assume your acc is established and you have plenty of good feedbacks?

Brand name goods like that usually scare me. But if you are just selling a used one and just one from your collection, I'd think it'd be ok.
But if you are going to resell a bunch of the same brand, it'd cause problems.

What's the policy violation for? 6 months ago? Should be ok.

However, again, trust your instincts, if you care about your account, use a back up account to sell it.

policy violation happened in 6 months ago.

after that I did not use that account. I used back-up

my feedback is 100% more than 300.

thanks

Honestly though, that's 6 months ago and if that's the only thing that went wrong,
it should be ok. But again, just sell 1. Think of it like this... you are cleaning out your closet right? And someone who is doing that won't have 2 of the same item =)

Also, not sure about JC, but I get the feeling you can only sell a few of that brand name no matter the product.

Go very slow.

Without us , ebay cannot make too much profit....

"Ebay's net profit was $412 million, or 31 cents per share, compared with $327 million, or 25 cents per share, a year ago" ------July 2010

Sue, trust me, that kind of thoughts would only stop you from selling without stress.
eBay will ban anyone, anytime. They got rid of their biggest seller too a while back.

Yes, your thoughts are correct, we build them, but I think it's best we play the game
and change the way we think about them if we want to do business there.

Anyways, good luck and I hope I helped you enough.
