Ebay wants me to write back
So previously I've been suspended due to a few UPI strikes against my account. This was probably almost a year ago due to personal reasons and I've been MIA on Ebay for awhile since the suspension and never bothered to take care of it since I was busy with other more important things. However, lately I wanted to get back onto Ebay in hopes to begin selling but since I've been suspended due to the UPIs, I had wrote to them that I had a personal/family emergency to attend to previously which caused me to forgo other things like paying for ebay items. So they wrote back with this:
Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your Unpaid Item suspension
appeal.
I understand that there might be special circumstances or events that
contributed to this Unpaid Item situation.
We're sensitive to the difficulties that affect our members and are
happy to take into account your recent circumstances. We just need a
little more information.
Please write us back and tell us, in as few words as possible:
1) When this event/situation took place (exact dates);
2) What happened exactly.
It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing eBay.
Sincerely,
Brendy

So my question is has anyone had to write back to them similar to the above and does anyone have any suggestions as to how to approach this? Do I word it so sad to gain their sympathy? It's kind of odd to me how all they want me to do is to write us back and tell them in as few words as possible:
1) When this event/situation took place (exact dates);
2) What happened exactly.
I dont know if it's a trap or trick or whatever but it's just a little weird that that's what they wanted especially with the exact dates, what's up with that? Are they going to look it up or track it or something? So I wanted to see if anyone have any advice on this and how I should approach it. Thanks all, appreciate it.
