Priorty Boxes are Now printed on the INSIDE as well, also you do not need to worry about the Post office about shipping media Mail, you need to worry about Spot Checks, It Happeed to me, if they catch it, They DO NOT Deliver the Package, Only advise the Buyer that there is a Package at the Post office for them, When Your Buyer goes to pick it up, they Charge them the Difference,, NOTHING Will Piss a Buyer off more than that

I save about $5 in shipping costs per order which adds up very quickly and this has saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years. Also, I ship my stuff Media Mail. I am very lucky that my post office does not care and allows it. Occasionally I ship Parcel Post. OCCASIONALLY (it is RARE) a buyer will complain that you charged too much for shipping and shipped it via Media Mail. If this happens I simply apologize, say I made a mistake, and refund him whatever the difference in shipping costs would be.
Turning Express or Priority bags/boxes inside out and then shipping Media Mail is not smart. Your post office does not have their own rules. They do not allow it, you just haven't been caught yet. Media Mail can be opened for inspection, and it WILL happen. When they see what you did, they will attempt to charge the buyer the difference- buyer will probably refuse the package, and it will be returned for you.

Yeah I've tried Costco but I found I found a better way I shipped the turntables, in the ebay box that my priority boxes came in, just crossed off the word ebay with my marker, wrapped the turntable in bubblewrap from Walgreens and used dozens of plastic grocery bags for padding, a little ghetto but it worked.

Excellent work - all my shipping is ghetto. I once had a buyer who thought initially that I was ripping him off for sending cereal box...he wrote to me he thought initiall that he was being played but he enjoyed the ghettoness...

LOL, you have costco in Canada?

You should see what I used when I was too poor to buy anything and just started ebaying... Toilet paper. Yes, sir, TOILET PAPER.

I got a lot of "WTF"s from buyer and in my feedbacks. Positives though.

But back to topic:
Hmm i guess bigger boxes is more difficult to get, but then again the bigger the box = bigger item = heavier.
And nowadays priority mail is pretty normal for anything above 13oz aside from media mail.

So why not get free packaging from post office ?

I buy all of my labels and tape right on Ebay! I have been doing it for years through different accounts with no issues. As long as you have money on your card they won't ever stop a purchase.
