Default Paymate and Ebay AU

Hi guys..

I just read that Paymate is now a new form of payment on Ebay, so that means we can accept this instead of Paypal. Wouldnt that mean YAY!! I mean.. in terms of startin new accounts, doesnt that mean its a hell of a lot easier since we dont have to worry about paypal now and all the hell we have to go through with those pricks ?

Since paymate has nothing to do with paypal. we should be able to make a new account on there and then use that for a new ebay account ?

Thanks.

YAY! Finally !!! Cant wait. Thank you Ebay for being so fair "in providing users with freedom of choice !"

LOL let the countdown begin !!

Good thing is.. that having paymate as an option with bank deposit (and selecting buyer to absorb fee's) it will make buyers to pay thru bank deposit, so no fee's for ayhone.. I guess it depends on what the seller wants. High volume sellers probably prefer to pay more fee's coz of the ease of use etc..me i just dont wana use paypal since i h8 them so much.

I wouldn't get too excited, have you seen what you have to do to sign up with them????

You have to go to the post office with photo ID before you can open an account to receive money.

And they only allow you to sell certain things even though it is being sold through ebay, if they don't like what the money is being paid for they won't let you have your money either.

from what i know... you need 10 feedabck to sell on ebay.
I have been selling on other sites and has lots of transactions come through without one hassle. they have cared 0% for what i sell and had not had one chargeback or hiccup at all. from what i can see at the moment, this is the paypal killer.. really good service.. the website sucks, the help service sucks. the interface design is bad.. however, the money comes in straight away with a question, 200 transactions. 0% problem...

Ebay have found ways to screw sellers still....must have 10+ good feedback as seller, and still need an active paypal account, even tho you want to use paymate....they just found another way around the ACCC....thats all.
