Problem with Grand Central numbers

I registered 1 ebay accounts using Grandcentral number.
Then ebay ask me to confirm the account.
I forward it to my aim phone.
Then I click CALL ME button on ebay.
When I receive the call via the aim phone, it is too late to get the number.
What can we do to solve this problem? thanks.

You have to actually be logged in with the latest version of AIM, when feeBay calls you. I don't know what you mean by being "too late" to get the # but if you are logged in just accept the call when the phone rings and it will tell you to push the '#' key before they give you the PIN number.

I tried, but the problems are:
When I set the greeting of the Grandcentral phone, I have to press # after I finish recording the greetings and the POUND SOUND will be in the greetings. then ebay phone me, and will give the pin when ebay get the # in the greeting then they starts giving the pin. it will need some time for the grandcentral to ring the aim phone. when I pick up the phone of AIM. I only heard the last digit.

What exactly is grandcentral anyway? Sorry but I've never heard of it.

you guys should use Toll Free and Local City Phone Numbers - Worldwide
they forward to any physical phone number. i just get them to forward to my cell so i can always answer the phone. and its only 10$ a month per number, EVEN 1-800 numbers!!!

I reserved a number and then they emailed me back with a free number in 5 days.

sounds like you got slow computer maybe.. need moore memory maybe then it will be quicker to pic up the phone ?
