Default PayPal IP linking to Ebay??

I am going to play it safe for a while, and only log into ebay at "wi-fi" hotspots. I would however, like to log into PayPal at my own home. Does anyone know if this will be fine considering the IP address? I'm aware that ebay monitors the whole IP address thing, but I'm not sure about PayPal. Reason being, is after I make the sale on ebay, I need to log into PayPal to print my shipping labels. I have all the legit items(SS#, credit card, etc...) for a legit PayPal in someone else's name, I just need to be able to access it from my own house to print shipping labels. I'm not sure if PayPal could look at my IP address, and then determine it's not who it's supposed to be (like ebay does), and then tell ebay on me. Please advise...

I only hide my IP while using eBay. For Paypal, I always login through my real IP for months now and it's never caused any problems. Of course, my home ISP puts me under a dynamic IP (changes like once every few weeks) but I still don't think it should be an issue for anyone.

Just to add to this, I also use the same IP address for different paypal accounts. Maybe in the future this may change...

I think with paypal and Ebay working so closely together It would be better to have different ips for every different PP or EB account. Just so play it save.

It would not make sense for paypal to link "bad" ips from ebay. I couldn't begin to imagine how many accounts would be closed because of that.

I'm up to 9 eBay/paypal accounts using the same IP address(PAYPAL). Of course eBay is special and gets a different IP for each account. I think Modee is right, if you give PayPal a reason to suspect you for anything, all accounts will most likely get the boot. I do not use the PayPal accounts. I just made them because eBay wants a Paypal account established for selling up to 10 feedbacks. I am creating more accounts because I think eBay will be changing things in the future and I want to be prepared. I'm hoping that eBay will grandfather existing accounts if major requirements are needed for new accounts.

The only thing that could shock people is the requirement of a SS#, other then that what could they do?

How would they deny giftcards? They have no way to tell whether or not a CC is a gift card, do they?

I'm always using the same IP range for eBay and PayPal. I wouldn't want to risk it just to try.

If the government would shut paypal down and then all ebay sellers would be free!
