My UK Paypal account wont accept small payments just large payments!!!

Hi,

Ive had this UK Paypal account verified now for say 9 months - In the last couple of weeks it has got to the stage where I dont have anymore holds - evrything was great.

Now over the last week or so whenever a customer spends a small amount (around the 25 GBP mark) through Ebay it refuses their Paypal payment. All the customers have contacted saying that Paypal at their end refuses as if their cards have expired or just wont accept the transaction. Even if I send them a Paypal invoice it is refused. They have all managed to use their Paypal accounts since.
Whats even more strange is that it lets customers who are paying 200+ GBP pay without any problems.

This is a stealth account and its getting me really paranoid.

Has this happened to anyone else?

My customers have all been given the Paypal message:
"your card cannot be used to pay
for this item".
However they have all managed to pay for other items from other sellers.
This happened to anyone?

I know from the past that PP sometimes prefer to specify source of payment i.e. pp balance or card etc. They feel it is a security issue, bla bla bla
Maybe thats why you are getting some kind of payment but not others

Another 2 customers have told me that the message they are getting is:
"This card cannot be used for this transaction. You can complete the checkout with another debit or credit card. Please enter your new card information below"
Now Ive Googled this and it seems that its a problem lots of people are having, but without anyone being able to answer it.
Any help?

Well, if other users are having same problem, then there is nothing for you to worry about cos it isnt an isolated prob on your account alone. It may well be a techie glitch
