Default Has entropay been banned

Hi everyone, i wake up his morning and all of my new stealth account are banned.. I got a pm for a member sharing same story...and our similarity is we are using entropay to create seller account.

So just wondering if anyone also experiencing same problem? In my case, i did not got any suspension when i registered as member but once i tries to list something , not vero, just like custom built pc then it all goes suspended.

I did it fine for last 2 months and now suddenly it all went down on my new account.

If it is true that they ban entropay, is there any alternative?

Thx

What was the notice from ebay?

What category was listing?

Was the paypal verified?

I'm having no troubles with my entropay. (touch wood)

I'm sure it was something else other than the vcc.... although, I don't use entropay.... but typically it's the case where it is NOT the 3rd part tool you've used

@GreenBean

It was listed on Desktop PC category

PayPal was verified

It is MC049 and some got MC165

Or is it as you said like all new account will expect call from eBay?

Thanks

Is this true about Entropay?

I'm about to open a new account, should I wait or use another VCC.

I did some experiment and this morning one of my ebay account. I don't even listed anything yet...I just registered as seller by adding entropay cc.

And it goes down by MC115 "ABusing Ebay". I mean like maybe they can track entropay now or perhaps they try call me? as I usually put BS phone numbers on my account and add mobile phone number as secondary...

I am not quite sure what happening, but I think they are not going to banned isp provider right? I mean like if I keep creating account using the ip (dynamic) from 1 company ..

Perhaps just registering as a buyer and just browse and bid on a few things for a few days, then buy a couple of more things over a couple of weeks before adding a CC (Entropay) and registering with PP and adding that.

Some good advice. If you just blast through the setup process it raises tons of flags. Remember you need to appear as a "new user" to the system. And a new user does not setup an account in 3 minutes and list an item. They fool around for awhile slowly. Hunt and peck. Do some bidding. Do what you did on you very first account

Thanks Pod.

And I start off with a few things from around the house, books, DVDs, computer parts, clothing. Go to end of season sales and get some cheap clothing to sell. Discontinued lines and so on. Or buy some second hand stuff off ebay, you can get some real bargains, and sell it on another account.
I also buy things that my family want and ask for it to be sent to them as it's a present. That way I get around the address issue. As long as it isn't expensive most sellers don't mind.
Now if I can figure out how to get around paypal's limits and ID check, I'll be fine.

Hi there

If you said like using the account to buy something then registering as seller account, how about some people who just want to try the luck to sell on eBay. They don't even need to buy anything.

I think it is not about this matter, I will try at new accounts with other vcc.
See if it is working.

Have you tried the guys that sell vcc on this forum, how is the vcc? And also about the prepaid from PO. Is it still working or banned as well?

Hi, I haven't tried any other VCC, but the ones from the PO would be a good idea. I'm thinking of those myself for my next account if Entropay isn't accepted.

I added a newly created EntroPay VCC to a very very old and well established eBay account and it went smoothly.

Just checking- can I open a new paypal account with just an entropay credit card and start selling straightaway on my new eBay account. I would intent to get verified later by adding a bank account. Need to get selling as my first stealth account has become suspended! This was my own fault. Withdrew too much money at once and got linked to my old account. So am trying my luck on a few new accounts.

In the real world, they have ID. So its just part of the process involved in setting up an account is all. That situation doesn't count here.

It is. They are not trying to hassle buyers. They are looking for people setting up accounts to sell under bogus info or even worse to scam. And opening an account and selling right out of the gate is not bad in the real world, no. But its also a flag of possible shenanigans. Thats all they are looking to combat.

@jayne - "Trying your luck" is not the way to go - ha even though it feels like gambling at times....

What pod says is the way to go. Desperate to sell often leads to limit consequences - look at all the forum posts...

@ jayne.w1

Maybe buying an account that's been setup and sitting is the fastest way to go here

They have had some time to stew, so certainly better then signing up and selling out of the gate. Not sure if any of the folks here sell UK accounts. But thats what I would look at in a pinch

I just verified a new PP account with Entropay. Then I tried to link another Entropay card with my established PP account and got an error message?
"We were unable to verify this credit card. Please check if the information you entered is correct. If the problem persists, please try to enter a different credit card."

Anyone know why?

How much did you put on the Entropay card? Need a minimum to verify both processes since there is almost a $1.00 placed on hold per transaction so heads up!
