Looking at the same thing myself. There is a few different companies in the UK which offer different service. You could go for a virtual office address (e.g. regus) but it can be expensive.

Another option is Mailbox etc, you can either collect you mail at one of their location in the uk or they will send on to your home address. Their address will be a standard address, this is where they differ from a Royal Mail PO Box. Again there is a cost on this but tend to be cheaper than a virtual office address.

Another option is UKpostbox.com, they will scan all envolopes you received and email you a scan to see if you want it. They will either post it out to you (at a cost) or will shread it. They offer different levels of service from a "pay as you go" to a monthly subsription.

Hope this helps,

Also be aware that all virtual offices now need id sent into them before you can have a virual office, such as utility bills and a form of photo id.

Yeah, i am also aware they need ID. But how do u get round this.
Would they accept your real ID showing say 'Mr Real Details' to open the service and then still allow u to recieve mails under 'Mr Stealth Details'.

From my experience with post boxes in North Am, I get stuff all the time in other names no problems /knock on wood.

WARNING

any address that can be looked up online as a po box is ok if use these as return address only, but I would hesitate in using as an ebay/paypal registered address , they know these are po boxes, so cannot be used for anything other than business accounts,

I have my local MB etc for my returns and registered as an address for a private account and when it was looked at on soft limitation, I was emailed for ID and it said showing 'home address', which meant they knew it couldnt be a home or work address as it was a pobox, and that was further confirmed when I called them, even though I didnt put 'pobox' on it, just a number. In the end I had to find a completely different residential address to give them, defeating the purpose of registering it in an accessible pobox address.

So remember business accs only and then you have to provide passport (not DL as that would have home addres on it)

pm, if you want a company that does not ask for ID, will allow any name and does not have a published address (subscribed members only)
