Question Does anyone here use an online selling service that runs the auctions for you?

Guys, does anyone here use any online service that auctions your merchandise on ebay through their account for a fee? And if so can anyone recommend one? I found one that charges 20% fee including ebay and paypal fees, so if for example I made a 35% profit I would end up with 15%, but I would not have to waste time on managing listings, just making more and sending the merchandise when I receive the check. No?

HI- I'm using 4 Sellers Assts right now, as I have so much merchandise, and I cannot list 300-500 items/ day anymore... You can search for them in ebay by your zipcode, I personally went out of my zip- I went by PS fb. I.e. I wanted someone with at least 5,000 fb. I found 6, 2 were duds.. I am paying more than 20% though..

You list 300-500 items a day. Damn, your ebay fees will be thousands a month, maybe tens of thousands.

If most of those items sell, you will be shipping thousands a week. If you don't have time to list them all, how will you have time to deal with the flood of customer emails, time-draining of customers who have trouble paying, people who cause trouble and won't pay, people who bid to neg and drain your time in other ways or file fraudulent ebay claims to make trouble, and then finally how will you have time to ship thousands of items a week?

yes, ebay got $5k-$6k/mo. Prob was my turnover was less than 40% , alot of refills, several hundred styles, etc. didnt have time to really evaluate the items that didnt sell, etc- was easier to simply relist in bulk- thats why i paid my ebay fees daily- so i wouldnt get behind..it was very easy over a weekend to see your acct go from like $300 all the way up to $2800 almost overnite.. with final value fees, etc. The Sellimg Mgr really simplied everything, all feedback-automatic, most items automatic relist, you set up templates-tell them how many of each item to always keep on hand -every time one sells- system auto relists another- it also kept track of your qtys on hand, as well as did auto-markdowns..
>> NOW.. I am listing roughly 100 items/day spread over 7+ accts, all via auctiva, but with no direct paypal-takes alot of time in invoicing...

With auctiva to authorize.net buyers can pay instantly like paypal, but most don't read my auction and then say they only pay paypal and I have to spend hours with each one convincing them to do paypal. If I don't bother, then I believe at least half would leave me negative feedback after not paying.

Man, at $5-6k a month in ebay fees, it'd be easier to just not pay. Most people in America do not make $5-6k a month and you have to pay it in ebay fees.

Yeah thats why I always put in bright read letters at top of auction" If you dont see a payment option below then I dont accept it""
that weeds out the paypalers..lol
