attention: scam PP emails

I don't know if you have checked your spam email recently but there are some emails from paypall.com telling that your account has been limited. the details are the following for the link http:// paypal.com/and a lot of numbers.
note the none https and the number behind the paypal.com/......
also traced back on the internet (if you look for paypall.com) you end up there

Merchntaccount.com - merchant account Resources and Information.

if you do a whois and type in this name it comes up with infos and registrar moniker online service inc.

so just be careful and do not freak out

Thanks for the FYI.... I've been getting variations of these for years. Scammers like popular companies - eBay, PayPal, Amazon, Chase Bank, Bank of America, etc.

A newer one purports to be an invoice from UPS. The email says you account is about to be placed with a collection agency, and to avoid that you should view the attached invoice in PDF format. Of course, that is a virus.

If I ever receive any email about any type of a "problem" with an account, I always just go to my browser and log in using my normal procedure. I never click on links or open attachments.
