Selling limit.

I have searched and can't find the answer, I also have stealth.

I have a powerseller account that has selling limits due to one person taking out 9 resolution cases 8 months ago. With the new policy, this account is now limited for selling although I have no idea until when, I'm presuming it will be 12 months after the cases were filled. eBay won't remove the cases even though everything arrived in the end, and its also over 45 days so you can't appeal.

I will open a stealth account. My question is does my eBay account have to have a PayPal account of the same surname. For example, my PayPal account will be my surname for withdrawing money, does the eBay account have to be the same surname?

I'm in Thailand.

I have one stealth account already but I logged in and they wanted ID confirmation, its a 3 year old account. I have a feeling its linked as i used JAP (Jon Don) to log in about six months ago, its been laying dormant for 12 months and has over 500+ feedback. But I think it may be linked through the Flash cookie's?

What kind of ID confirmation did they ask you about? What was the message? MC010? Or confirm the email PIN?

I tried to list an item as i have not logged in for over 6 months. As i tried a message came on the next page saying they need ID confirmation and to contact live chat. This I did, have all my info at hand. She asked me several questions, name, what I used to sell, if I had another account, if I have another account at this address.

I said no, she said, I could go ahead and list.

Next day I prepared a listing, went to list and had the same, contact live chat for ID confirmation. I tried they were busy, so my nerve went and I've not logged back in since.

My powerseller account has selling limits due to one person taking out 9 cases, this I am trying get down to one case, but not much look.

Is it time to start another stealth account?

Usually you should have a choice of phone verification, eBay PIN, or live chat. Or was live chat your only option? I think the problem is that you cleared the cookies. You need to leave the cookies after you verify, otherwise you will have to verify every time.

OK, thanks, I'll give it a go again this week.

As I still have listings on my limited powerseller account, that are active and making money, I don't want to end up with a total restriction. So I'll try when my nerves are better!
