Default Still pay with PayPal without account?

You used to be able to send someone a PayPal payment request that didn't have an account and they could "pay without registering"

Is that still the case?

If so, how are these requests/payments viewed by PayPal risk wise? Its about $500 so I dont want all hell to break loose.

They can pay with their credit card - high risk though for sure so you can't touch that money for sometime. You will likely have to provide invoicing if you get limited - it's very high risk.

Now if they establish their account and verify it, etc. that's much better business for Paypal.

Been done though

That blows. Its a one time purchase, guy doesn't want to create a paypal. And in this case I have no other payment options at this time... My main gateway got hit with a scammer on $1200... So its in limbo. I will be able to fix it, but it will be at least a week.

Wish there was a way to get paid that didnt make the buyer uneasy and also I dont wait until xmas to get paid...

You have moneybookers? Credit card is doable and much less problem than paypal. Fast setup too.

You could try the paypal route but would not recommend insta-withdrawal.

I hear your woes though. PM me if you want but I am only around for 1 hour or so before I split until Sat/Sun.

I have moneybookers but tied to other stuff so cant use it here.

I could use the PP loot to buy needed supplies. But that will be just as bad I'm sure... Thing is, its PayPal, I'm sure it will be a problem.

Yes - is your paypal account solid with decent activity? been past limits, etc.? You might be able to get away with one time payment - do it properly with invoicing and send something physical with tracking. You could get away with it.

I say "Been done" because I have done it before - sent something with tracking, was protected. If that's your only option, all good

No, this account is not strong at all. I knew taking money out would be a no go. But I was planning to spend it over the next week. It hasn't been limited yet.

Its physical goods, but I was going to try tag it as service. Protection is not paramount if I can spend the money the next week.

I guess I could let it get limited and work it out. Make it stronger. I would really like to do that on $100, not $500

I don't know about what the sale is about or whatever, but yeah always the risk - might as well hit your paypal and ship with tracking and wait for delivery before withdrawal.
