Default Any Avid Google Checkout users out there?

There hasn't been a lot of recent threads about GCO in awhile. I'm just wondering if people are still using them or staying away from them? I pretty much just use them as a backup for Paypal now. Is anyone using GCO fulltime to process all ebay payments?

That's a dangerous game.... Google is tricky, and they hate me. With a passion... not sure why....

I'm not a fan of google checkout. They don't even hold the funds, they just refund your buyers and say "oh well". It looked good when it first came out, like a savior for merchant processors, but they've fallen victim to "risk assessment" as well.

They dont refund money they has already been paid out, correct? Like once it already been transfered to your bank account.

Oh yes, they'll reverse everyone of the transactions you've had! They don't ask for info, no chance to change their minds.... you just get screwed, hard.

Not every transaction, just pending ones from what I've seen. If it's already in your bank account they can't touch it.

They are very strict but once you gain trust with them they tend to leave you alone unless you have too many chargebacks.

They shut me down last year, with legit info, and took pack an already cleared transaction. It was only 60 dollars, but they still tried to take it.... No dispute or anything.

And I agree with Apskin though, when established, it works very, very well. And they ONLY care about proof of delivery.

I use them, they're okay as long as you don't get disputes. I have several accounts with them, but they'd never be my only payment option.
