Default How are claims handled?

I recently had one buyer file a claim against me and used "significantly not as described" as the reason which is bs. Can I expect this to go in my favor because he chose that option without having to prove anything to paypal? Also are my funds locked up until it's resolvved or can I still withdraw money? thnx

Usually Paypal freezes the funds until the dispute is settled. :/

I know that's what they say but you can send money. I'm just not sure if you can withdraw. I should mention that this was a money request transaction and not linked to ebay in any way even though it was for an item won on ebay.

Ballsack- whenever you send a Money Request for "Services", Paypal will decide in your favor, as they do not cover signif not as descr for this type..I had purchased over $400 worth of tags from THAILAND, DIDNT REALIZE WHAT he/she sent me- I paid it- they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ plastic- I then returned them, via usps Global priority- (which i found cannot be insured later)-NOR tracked, so guy ends up with my $400 + his stuff back.. PP said theyd put it in his file... tough lesson.

Well I just checked my account and I don't even see a claim against me even though I got an email referencing it. I just withdraw some money as well without any problems. Is this normal in my situation? I checked my disputes console and I don't even have any open disputes. This is strange.

On my business paypal account, they would automatically deny "not as described" complaints from buyers if they did not purchase the insurance through paypal.

Hi- Does anybody still see the Paypal buyback for the buyers anymore? It was a program whereby if the seller was rated, then the buyers could send the mdse to paypal or an auction house and they get reimbursed? They may have discontinued it? It was an extra field on the buyers final screen in paypal.

I just had an experience like this except paypal automatically paid back the buyer with my money no questions asked!!! unbelievable. I always transfer the money right away into my bank account except that money was from another buyer who just sent me a payment so all that money is freaking gone now, I'm so pissed off that there are no rights for sellers I hope everyone wins in that class action lawsuit against paypal I don't know if this buyer is going to send the item back this ahole filed and got the money back the same day!
