Default Withdrawal Limit/Savings Account

I have a savings account attached to my PP, obviously with no debit card, so I only have one of the three steps to lift my monthly limit.
However, that savings account has made me "Verified." And according to another page, you have no limits if you are verified. But I still have "remaining monthly limit" when I move money.

Am I truly verified? Do I still have a withdrawal limit?
And when is my anniversary day, the day I opened the account or the day of first withdrawal?

From what I know.Sending and receiving are unlimited. But if you want to withdraw money out from paypal to your bank account.$500 for every month.Add a credit card will be raised to $2500.

Actually a nice thing is that it is 500 USD without ANYTHING attached to a PP account.

It is then 2500 when you add a Bank Account or VCC.

It is then UNLIMITED when you add both. (this does NOT mean go crazy, you will be limited...duhhh)

Cool

Being verified means you added a bank account, or allowed them to approve you with a paypal credit card. The idea here is that you are required to have a social sec. number in order to get a bank account, and you showed them proper ID... etc. If you applied for the mastercard, you did a credit check, where they verified your info.

This has nothing to do with the withdrawal limits. In order to lift the withdrawal limits, and or sending limits.... you are required to verify two of the three following items:
  • Social security number
  • add bank account
  • confirm debit/credit card ownership

Now obviously on a stealth account you won't be able to give a social... but when you add a bank account and a credit card, you can withdraw as much as you want.

On a side note... this does NOT mean you are allowed to move as much money as you want without getting limited.

So it should refresh each month on its own? The site says it does it on the anniverary day of opening the account, which is today. I'm just trying to avoid calling them.

I usually add a checking account/debit card by now, but I'm thinking of just leaving the savings and keeping my limit at 500, to keep me out of trouble.

Yes, it refreshes each month.

If you only move 500 a month through an account, I doubt it will ever get limited

They look for suspicious/criminal activity. This is such a small amount of money in the grand scheme of things that they deal with... if they limited everyone that tried to move less than 500 a month, those 84 million users they bost about would drop off really quickly.

I dunno if it's really 84 million accounts. How many are active...with all the freezes and dead end PPs. I assume around 30 million accounts!

In any case, 1st ED, don't forget to mention that it is NOT the calendar month that they record on sending that 500 dollar limit. It is 30 DAYS from the date you signed up.

I.e. If I signed up on Dec 13th, my "NEW CALENDAR MONTH" would be the Jan 13th.

Right. It's a rolling 30 day period. If it confused anyone... no, it does not reset on the start of each calender month.
