If you're shipping to an unconfirmed address, Paypal will just ignore any tracking information you give them in the event of a dispute anyway. You might as well skip on the tracking then, if it will save you money.
As to whether or not you should ship.. I probably would if he had good feedback but that's your call.
Depends on the real value of you item. My cost for my item is low compared to the potential profit, so I usually take a chance. But if my item had higher value I probably would not. How do you guys do it? If I had to pay my ebay fees, plus replace all the packages that get lost, plus the scammer who chargeback, plus deadbeats, I would find another way.
HI- I usually ship HIgh end items overseas- I ALWAYS BUT ALWAYS insure through UPS for $999, (under 1000 they dont question)-- whenever a problem arises- thats a NON Delivery- UPS must pay.,.. UPS although alittle higher- when you send an item you paid maybe $200- sold for $600-- the insurance is really cheap- Customs forms declaration only for the orig amt- You have a Carriage Value _ + a Declared alue which are different..

i will get insurance, tracking, delivery confirmation and a signature through UPS. the person said that the item ships to a post office and that they will ask for his signature when he picks it up....probably since the item is bigger than a p.o. box.
i will take my chance for the first time since i actually forgot to put in the auction that i only accept verified paypal addresses, and the item sold for my buy it now price.
FYI- I 've gotten lucky a couple times.. UPS has PAID me via check (took a couple months)-- but I GOT PAID + NOT the $600 either--the Insured amount.. as my customer does NOT acknowledge delivery...(SOmetimes you even WISH they loose it...)
