Arrow Virtual address? Mailboxes etc? PO box?

Having never been in the situation of needing to be in stealth mode, I'm trying to do this right. So which is better (I'll admit that I'm trying to keep the $ amount low as I'm unemployed) ... Getting a virtual address (virtual office - are there any free places?) or using someone else's address or paying for mailboxes etc? Or a PO box? I don't love the idea of using a family members address.

I'm leery of the post office. Don't you have to give them your information?

The reason I had hoped not to have to pay for an address is it would go to waste. I wouldn't be getting mail.

You might want to ask yourself if you need the added cost of an additional address. I simply use a real address for account creation, and explain to people that returns are sent to a separate warehouse. Then there is no need for a po box, ups store box, or anything else.

I am still wondering why maybe I should be "leery" of the postal service, except maybe around 5pm, ouch! Even though it may not be needed in this particular situation, would it matter at all unless something illegal was happening? (Assuming someone actually did need a real address attached to an account.)

Well not illegal in the basic sense...however, many legalities of the problem MIGHT come into play (not saying they will).

How do you use a real address? Is this a family member's address? Do you put down your real name?

Thanks!

Postal service has been used countless times to help in many, many criminal investigations over the years. From the privacy point of view, I follow all laws and legalities, but I'm still not okay with anyone getting their nose involved in my business.
