Default I KEEP getting suspended

Dear aspkin,

In your ebay final guide to making a new account you stated that you can create an ebay account with a bogus address for the credit card address but just use the same city and state, but i've noticed that doesn't work anymore and you need to use the same zipcode only.

And i was wondering if they keep using my zipcode as a way to track my accounts down, because i keep getting suspended and im selling legit items, also i was wondering could they be suspending my accounts because i am using photobucket to directly embed pictures onto my auctions?

please reply back, anyone who has answers to my questions.

There's no way eBay can track you down by your Zip code. There are too many people using that same zip code to do so.

It's most likely something else, like using the same password between accounts, using Paypal for multiple accounts, forgetting to change your IP address or delete cookies, or a number of other reasons.

hey what do you mean using paypal for multiple accounts? i actually use different passwords for each account and i use the same paypal but different email address.

i really have no idea why ebay keeps tracking me, do you think think they are tracking me through the photo hosting website that i use?

Yes, things have changed. EBay and Paypal are linking accounts the moment someone pays your Paypal from eBay. They probably even share IP and cookie information now. But yes, using paypal for muliple accounts links those accounts now.

through my research i have found out... if you donot pay your ebay fees on a suspended account that way your accociated paypal is BLACKLISTED, it is also clearly written on paypal policy that we share info if there is a need so there is your answer.. if you want to save your paypal.. do pay ebay its fees otherwise life gets really tough with paypal too.. i highly appreciate more views on my understanding

STAY AWAY FROM PAYPAL ALTOGETHER--PAYPAL IS NOT A VIABLE OPTION ANYMORE--YOU MUST USE A MERCHANT LIKE CCNOW OR ELECTRONIC TRANSFER INC, ETC FOR ALL YOUR EBAY TRANSACTIONS AND YOU WILL SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT.
Electronic Transfer, Inc. credit card processing and merchant accounts

You have to accept Paypal to be able to list with new accounts now.

But still get a merchant account and get as many buyers to pay with that as possible.

Is this really true? If my paypal account got limited and my ebay account is less than 2 weeks old, I won't be able to sell with just a merchant account without also accepting paypal??

Is there no way around having to offer PayPal with a new eBay account?? I had every intention of not using PayPal at all (offering a Merchant Account and CCNow), but this has thrown a major glitch in the works.
