Default In your face paypal!

So one of my accounts got shut down and paypal started charging me fees and other bull****.

So I called up the bank and explained that PayPal was raping me. The bank put a stop payment on the account + refunded me the fees and blocked paypal from taking more money from the account. The bank rep on the phone said "paypal has bad customer service, I recommend amazon.com" lol

So yeah all the money paypal took out will be reversed by the bank at 12:00 AM.

And what will you do with the proper advice of I recommend amazon.com....?

Ha funny bank rep - solid advice...and access to cash too - he could be an asset if he's account manager...

I had a similar piece of advice given to me. I opened another account at WoodForest, and their rep (at the branch) saw the PayPal micro-deposits on my first account. She told me they are not such nice people to do business with and that if I was an eBay seller, I should consider other options to accept payments.

I told her that you pretty much had to use PayPal to sell on eBay, and she said OK, I'm just letting you know that we have had other customers who had problems with them.

I get the feeling that the banks don't like PayPal very much. It costs them money to have their reps get involved with issues, and I am sure that most banks have seen MANY, MANY issues come up with PayPal.

Now, THAT is one thing that COULD get PayPal to change. If lobbyists from the banking industry started complaining to the government about PayPal, then PayPal could pretty quickly find new laws being written to regulate them.

We live and hope....
