PayPal Verification Email

Hi All

I recently received an email from Pay Pal stating that they may require verification documents to be sent to them once the limit of 1K is reached.

I have concerns that details will not match as I have used my PO Box address (without actually specifying it) and a different DOB as I did not want to be linked to other eBay / Pay Pal accounts.

Has anyone had this concern before and are there suggestions to avoid future limitations on my account?

Hi Mate,

PayPal are asking you for photo ID and proof of address? This is a hard one to get around if you cannot provide the details. There are plenty of posts about this. From my understanding if you cannot provide these documents then your PayPal account will be limited and your funds will be held for 180 days, at the end of which they will be transferred to a nominated bank account.

It is a good idea to create an account that you can verify if requested. (family or friends)

Forum members recommend that when you first start collecting payments via a stealth PayPal account, you take it slow, so no big sales for a while. ( how long? I am not sure) Slowly build it up over time. For that reason it is a good idea to have multiple stealth accounts, that way you can still pump out the sales over multiple accounts and not raise any flags with PayPal.
