This Only 3 Months After Bidpay Launched Their 3rd Party Api In Aug 2007 To Be Used To Integrate Bidpay Into Your Web Site And Ebay Checkout.

Ebay Did Not Buy Into It. But What Was Bidpay Thinking? That Ebay Would Allow A Totally Open And Integratable Payment Solution, Who Abided By Federal Banking Regulations (ie No Third Party Like Paypal Would Be A Holding Company Of Your Money) To Do Business On Ebay? Then Paypal Would Take A Backseat And Be Nothing More Than A Payment Option To Bidpay.

This Is What Happens In A 100% Competitive Marketplace--the Better Business Model Will Succeed And Bidpay Should Have On Ebay, Winning Over Paypal.

Probably More Disturbing To Ebay Was Bidpay's Future Announcement That It Would Allow Buyers To Make On-line Purchases Without Even Registering With Bidpay--a Totally Novel Open Payment Solution-- Money Order And Cc. Don't Let Ebay Fool You Into Believing That Paypal Who Steals Your Money And Hijacks Your Business Is Easier And Safer.

And Above All This Bidpay Had More Competitive Fees Than Paypal.
But Bidpay Lost Out Because Of 0 Regulations From Uncle Jam.
