EIN and SSN on different accounts

Is it possible to use an EIN on a stealth account with a variation of the real name and then use the SSN on the real name on another account.

Thinking either pp or ebay wont see the names to compare them, just the numbers?

Can someone steer me the correct way to apply and get an EIN please?

EIN is defined as Employer Identifaction Number. So the name can be what you wish. But it is paypal that is concerned with these moreso than ebay. It also seems that at 1st an EIN will be OK for paypal but then/later they ask for the SSN of the holder of the EIN. Ergo your suggestion will not fly. At some point a check might be required. Names & numbers will need to match .

How to obtain an EIN? Google for your state's info. If you have a tax accountant or attorney speak to them too.
