Amazon return not received/without tracking number
A buyer complain about one itme, although it is brand new. He opened a claim on amazon, saying he shipped the item back in January without tracking number. I have not recieved it--I think it is a fraud, he shipped nothing.
Now what to do? refund? or represent to amazon? What will be the result? I don't want to get negative and refund anyway.
Any advise?
Thanks.

Ah ok portable GPS - electronics. Defend that hard - shoot an e-mail to Amazon showing proof that you sent out item, you do accept return for refund (or whatever) but buyer has not send tracking number and you have not received the item at hand.
Other folx will chime in but you should be able to put up a solid defence.
My opinion is that for this electronic issue where it's clear cut not some f*ke, you should stand your ground - negative feedback or what not. You e-mail/call Amazon saying that you had originally shipped it with tracking and you offered return for refund. Buyer has not shipped with tracking and you have not received it so the proof of return is not there.
Ultimately it's up to Amazon to decide but you take your best shot.
