Default eBay seller account limited

On January 25 after I logged into my eBay account I read the message like this:

"Attention!

We've noticed some activity on your account, and we need your help in verifying some information. We're sorry for this inconvenience, but while we're working things out with you, you'll have limited access to list new items on eBay.

Please proceed to your my eBay and follow the steps outlined in the email we sent you. Thanks for your attention to this matter!
"

Then I checked "My Messages" and saw a message like this:

"Dear XXX,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your selling limit.

Your listing activity has been restricted to ensure a safe trading
environment for you and the eBay Community, as well as allow us to
confirm some information including your identity and your current
business practices.

I understand that this process may seem confusing, please allow me to
explain a little more. We?re committed to reducing both fraud and
negative buying experiences on the site. To maintain a safe marketplace,
we sometimes restrict selling activity, end active items, or suspend
accounts until additional information can be verified or obtained.
These actions are not necessarily meant to be a reflection of your
account?s activity, but rather a preventative measure.
You can review the eBay User Agreement here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/user-agreement.html

We'd be happy to review your account and, if possible, adjust your
selling restriction to allow additional activity to take place.

In order for us to review your account, I need to ask you to submit all
of the following information by fax (fax number below):

- A readable copy of your driver's license, front *and* back, or other
government-issued ID.
- A copy of a recent credit card statement, bank statement, or utility
bill. Your name and billing address should be visible, and consistent
with the information registered to your eBay account.
- Documentation that shows that you purchased the item(s) recently
listed for sale on eBay. Documentation that will help us verify your
items can include either manufacture invoices or receipts.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept photos of the items to
fulfill this requirement.

-- Important --
- Make sure that your name and User ID appear on each document that you
submit. If this information is not included, it cannot be processed.
- Be sure your submitted documents are current, valid, and legible.

Fax all documents to:
eBay
Attention: SRM Appeals
Fax number: (801) 880-7018

-- Note --
- It may take up to 3 business days to review your information.
- All documents submitted will be destroyed after we review them.

We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter as quickly as
possible and look forward to receiving your documentation.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Adam

eBay Customer Support

I quickly gathered all the required documents anf fax them to the number provided in the evening of Feb 2.

3 business days past no response.

In the morning of Feb 6, I fax them again.

3 business days past no response.

In the afternoon of Feb 10, I fax them once again. Same thing happened.

On Feb 14, I fax them one more time. Until today nothing heard from eBay.

Anyone know how long it takes for SRM Appeals to respond? What's the difference between SRM Appeals and B001 Appeals? Thanks a bundle.

i disagree. if the account is relatively new, it can easily be salvaged by sending what they request, and following up with a phone call. this has been my experience numerous times.

Agree.

I doubt they destroy the ID after they receive it like they say they do though!

Until the original poster responds to imjustme's informed question:

No sense beating this out.

I have two important issues,

1. tell me when your account has been registered? Date?

2. you get the message because you wanted to sell something, right?
