hackers may have gotten through ebay's Vero system
I was recently suspended by ebay for 7 days for selling two Vero items (used) using a stealth account. So I called the rights owner and explained that what I tried to sell was legitimate and that I had bought them at a local store. After answering all the questions and once company rep checked their records, the anti-piracy rep assured me that they had never filed a Notice on Infringement with ebay to which I said but the email from ebay clearly states that you did. I was then told that this is not the first time that hackers have gotten through ebay's vero system. So I think that many of the vero delistings could be competitors that have figured how to fool ebay.

eB ay is a system that, yes while automated, is still subject to MANUAL review. That being said, if you KNOW people in well-placed areas, you can do anything. That's the power of networking.
This is not too far from the truth. I was in a similar situation years ago where a competitor of mine filed ⊗⊗⊗⊗ documents with eb@y and was booting off all his competitors.

They were able to send eB ay modified docs to appear to be Ve RO of a particular item and were approved? Wow, I would love to learn more about that. That's some serious power and skill.
Ahhh damn. Gotta get it while it's hot. But, I still think something is possible in other ways somehow, especially with what the OP originally stated. The hunt is on.
