Ebay suspend rules and policy

So when they suspended my wifes account 2 weeks it said in message can't open new account or family member open account in household.
I found out that I had ebay acct. back in 1999 and just had it re-opened. (used different ip conncetion to log on to ebay to reinstate old acct.)....

My question is this account was already open before my wifes acct. got suspended. so legally i didn't open a acct. can they still shut this one down?

Ebay has a stupid policy that if your her husband and live in the same house with her you CANNOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT! Why? Ebay is stupid. That's why! I suggest if you have another property where you live at to open an account there with your name, but fresh address, phone #, and rest of details. Never get yourself linked to an old address.

If you can't do that go stealth.

If you want to save your wifes account ask ebay what they need and send it to them. Chance is you will have a 50/50 if ebay accepts re-instating that account or no.
