Hello from London, UK.

Check this out.....

Any program that will reset my bt homehub (change my ip) at windows user logon and once reset, check an excel file containing ip addys, to make sure ip is not already used... and... then copy the new ip addy (once confirmed it has not been used) into the excel file under the column of the windows user name I have logged into.

Hey, you said you are programmer and this would be magic for many in uk on bt broadband. Also, you could make one for Sky reset... only a small few lines of code change.

I have smac but it only changes my mac address not my ip address.

I actually prefere tmac as I have set it to run in the background everytime I log into a different windows user.

I did this by setting up a command line script and it saves me a lot of time as it is automatic and as it is a command line script, no gui to load so its fast and whilst windows is doing its loading up thing, my mac address is being changed with no real impact on pc performance.

So, by the time my windows has loaded up and ready to use, my mac address has changed to what I want it to be.

Thats why I would love a program to change my ip at windows user logon etc... then my pc would be seriously automated and lots of time saved.

I just checked. On my setup it is only showing the internal ip. I think maybe we have different setups.

Oh... I was reading one of your other posts regarding your 'story'

Just wanted to say respect - you got up of you a r s and did something about your situation and even managed to get yourself a wife.

Some people go the other way and bum out so good on you that you got up and were not havin' it!
