Default Anything possible short of false ID when they ask for it & SSN?

Possibly a very quick question.
I opened a new stealth account. It worked great, I sold something or 600$. No I wasn't going to sell smaller things first, I had a buyer and a 600$ item.
I bought a VCC.
I am not blaming lakeman but I wish one of us had got working on that a little sooner... I probably would have been able to add it before they asked for my ssn or ID

What can I do now? Anyone have experience trying to lift the limitation by phone and with a VCC instead??

Wasn't planning on it.

If I do not ship it, paypal will pay them back... And eventually, they will send their collection agencies on a wild goose chase for a nonexistent address......

Can someone tell me if a VCC is useless now in my current position?

If you stick PayPal with this, YES, they WILL reimburse the buyer. The buyer will not lose out, except for the fact that they will be inconvenienced by having to find another item to purchase.

BUT YOU WILL BE COMMITTING FRAUD!

Sorry, but that is the plain and simple truth.

Your actions hurt all of us. It makes it much easier for eBay/PayPal to justify the way they treat sellers. It also gives them incentive to further tighten up on security making it more difficult for honest sellers who got booted to get a second chance.

If this seems judgmental, IT IS. Sorry, but that is the truth.

YOU didn't follow the stealth techniques. YOU did not want to wait to list an expensive item by following the guide and building up the account first. So, you did what you did. Then, YOU blame LAKEMAN for getting limited???? Even worse, you come back here asking us for help to defraud PayPal for $600 (or whatever amount minus what you took out)?

Are you KIDDING ME?

GROW UP AND TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOURSELF!

Nope.

I do not blame lakeman. I simply wish either of us had acted sooner, or paypal acted later.

I did rush to list the item, I rushed to find a payment method for an item I had already sold. You are overcomplicating things here.

My preferred course of action will be to give a partial refund of the remaining account balance.

With my last account however, I left -200 balance because I returned an item with valid tracking number before the ebay case was closed, I entered the tracking # in, it is now delivered so I appealed the case decision and it was denied. I'm still trying to appeal it - but I think of this as a courtesy I am doing to paypal and ebay.

If they only want to make arbitrary decisions that negatively impact others rather than positively impact themselves, then thats their problem.

Papypal is who needs to take responsibility. They are the snake and the apples, and the entire garden of eden which is mostly an illusion. I simply will never feel any remorse for an institution that sends you emails every day encouraging you to buy and sell while simultaneously limiting your account, tells you to ship things while telling you the funds cannot be accessed, etc.

Jeff was completely right and I'm glad there are clearly a handful of us calling you out. You didn't follow rules and you rushed. Now you want to screw the customer and Pa yP al.

Do it right or take your nonsense elsewhere.

We are NOT here to help people with that kind of morality.

You have changed you original post 5 times looking for an answer that suits your needs.
