Adding a new bank account to paypal with an existing one

Hey guys, I have an account I've been using that I setup under a friends name and I've never withdrawn money to the bank account that was posted. I used the paypal debit card but retarded me lost it and now I can't do that anymore because theyre asking for a SSN to reapply for the debit card whereas before they didnt. Smart paypal people. So I was wondering if I could add a new bank account under my real name with ING without paypal pulling out red flags? Thanks guys in advance!

Many banks will in fact accept payments under different names. I am not sure on specific US banks though so wait for more replies.

ING is NOTORIOUS for blocking deposits coming in different names. Go to a different bank.

You can add a bank account like this, just don't use ING.

FYI, if you used SEARCH, there are 443 mentions of the word BANK. Try it next time.

Wachovia is known to shut people down because of a name mismatch. Yes, it is possible to add a new bank account to paypal... you can add many bank accounts to paypal actually. From personal experience, Ally bank works just like ING, but Ally will allow for name mismatches on incoming deposits.
