It doesn't matter at all. If anything, it's better if you don't make it into a seller account right away. New sellers usually get to know eBay better before selling.

created an account the other night to try and list something and was immeadiately asked for a CC AND bank account. Went to put something up for sale this am on an account set up last week and all it asked for was a PP account to pay for seller fees, so I followed the links and set up a PP account using the GC that I had gotten to set up the ebay account. They didn't even make me agree to the $1.95 fee and four-digit code. Go figure? I think that both PP and EB have rotating or randomly applied requirements for setting up accts. So IOW it's the luck of the draw many times IMO

I have thought the same. That ebay is using a system that "flags" on certain data when signing up or selling. Trigger to many flags and automatic "bot" suspension, trigger a few and you might get a review by real live T&S monkey, don't trigger any and you a left alone.
Here is where the variables come in. Say if using a gift card starting with 4888, that triggered an automatic suspension 100% of the time. Then we would change our tactics and use different card. Now let's say it only triggered auto suspension 90% of the time. You would never know what was triggering the suspesion so you could not change your tactics.

That seems to be the best approach from my personal experience.

HI- Yes, try to keep track of the ips where you made the accts- so you go back to the SAME ips to match the SAME accts.
--BTW--you didnt create all accts on the same ip did you?
--WATCH out even at Public Libraries, sometimes they share ips...
IF all are created on same ip.. chances are slim others will stay up, if 1 goes down,, they will be linked, (by ip, by same date/time
-by same type email
-by same type phone
-by same type (well, you get the point)-
**THE very first 20 accts i made, back in July, all went down but 2 on 1 sunday..)
