No - it`s a fine idea if you know how to manage it. All of the eb ay accounts are LINKED so if you keep that in mind, you will be fine.

I think it is ok to have 2 ebay per paypal if you understand the risks. Lose one possibly lose all (2eb / 1 pp). I do this and if I get hit with a violation then I could work off the other. However if hit with limitation or suspension then you could have a problem.

I believe its fine - I have some paypals with up to 3 ebay accounts attached - however i have heard of horror stories where people get suspended by ebay for trying to avaid their listing limits.

Its more about operating the accounts properly and be prepared if one goes down they all go down likes dominoes

Also make sure all the details match accross your ebay accounts and paypal account

@MR_GTB - you have to always be careful of what you sell and HOW you sell it. Spread sales - go slow - provide superb customer service - and all your accounts can last well.

Hmm,
if they looked at your accounts it would be blatently obvious you was avoiding the selling limits unless you can think of some valid reason for 3 seperate accounts,
suppose using your accounts properly and keeping under the radar is the way to go with this!

If you get banned on one you're probably going to get banned on the others.

I find though with regards the limits on each account...if you dont take each one to its maximum (where they say you cant list any more of that type of item, not the overall monthly listing limit) they tend to leave you alone.

But I guess you could try it with the monthly listing limit im not sure what it is? You could operate each account near the limit but not quite hit it which seems to lead to less scruitiny from my experience, then you can spread sales accross the 2-3 without maxing them.

Spread the sales and have any ID documentation ready (or seemingly ready) if you get hit with verification.

Good points by all and thanks for your opinions! I sell computer parts and they are valuable items ($100-200) price range per item. I would need about (3) accounts with atleast a couple thousand limit to the same Paypal. It would be a pain to have to open up so many bank accounts, lol

Both.

Correctly created accounts can be linked to one paypal.
Sure it means being careful.
But the advantages outweigh the troubles if such accounts are operated under strict conditions.

For all of the eBay accounts linked to the same Paypal, do you not have to worry about IP changing for those then when logging from one account to another?

I have chatted with ebay sales before.... Got a sales call (before I read stealth ) and I simply stated that I sold electronics and my wife sells clothes and they suggested opening another ebay account... Then tried to sell the store. etc..etc...blah blah...

Point being if ebay sees similar items being sold then maybe they think your trying to avoid limits. However if the items sold are different then you could possibly be ok. I have an pp account that had 2 eb accounts attached and one got suspended 2 years ago and the second one is still running strong (knock knock - wood)
