Default Who pays their items as a Paypal guest?

I have a stealth account and was planning to just not go through the hassle of waiting for money to come into my Paypal account to pay for an item, so I rather pay as a paypal guest via debit or credit card.

The only thing is that my Credit card information has been suspended before. And my stealth account information is different.

Would paying from a stealth account as a paypal guest user using a Credit card with suspended info cause a link?

Yes it would - do NOT under any circumstances use a card that has been used before. I believe a VCC works in this scenario but once you put details of your CC in Paypals computer it stays there and is an obvious link - don't do it!

Thanks.

I'm guessing you can't pay as a guest with a prepaid debit card either? Has anyone tried it?
Maybe I'm making this more complicated than it seems. I've been out of it lately so don't judge me.

Yes you can - for buying that works fine. For anything else it depends on the card. Once again keep track of the numbers. Once it goes in the system it's there for good

Oh Ok, the suspended info I was talking about is suspended from eBay, not paypal. I almost forgot. So I'm guessing I'll be fine! But if grannytranny is right then I would rather pay by gift card, if anything.

It worked! I paid for an item as a paypal guest using a Vanilla Visa Gift Card and it went through. The only problem I had was the shipping address came out to be stealth since it detected that I already have a paypal account linked but I emailed him since it's just a $40 item. I know next time I won't make that mistake again.

Do you guys use your buying eBay and Paypal account on the same IP and windows user account that your eBay and Paypal account is used to sell on?

I've always wondered this

NO - DEFINITELY NOT! New IP everytime - without exception - it's the only way to be 'clean'

For my buyer accounts I always open a business mailbox first, then open a business paypal with the same address so whatever you buy get's shipped in your business name and of course I always clear flash/cookies and change ip or use different user or virtual machine and change ip, whichever you prefer, I prefer VM over user and I love it, I love my (non seller) buyer accounts linked to mailboxes, those are my little babies.

Damn, ya don't play. Stealth by any means necessary huh.

Because I was thinking why waste a useful IP address if you're just using a buying ebay account(and paying as a paypal guest) that is just used for buying which shouldn't be detected or questioned by eBay. I guess you still have to take safety precautions then

You have to get into the mind set of 100% stealth when dealing with Ebay & Paypal. You have to be lucky every time - they only have to be lucky once and you're toast
