Angry Bank of america closed me out forever

so i opened a bank of america checking account when i was 18. its been 1 year and half and i have been closed forever. like 3 months ago i overdrafted for over 2k and i got a call from overdraft services that i needed to pay by may 28, 2011 or they would close my account. i said np i will pay. which was true because i didnt have money before, but now im making money and i paid it all off and i paid like 100 bucks more than what i owed to add money in there and now they tell me they have decided to part services with me since they say suspicious account activity, nfs, suspicious money orders. LOL. :( sucks! i paid the debt i owed them with money orders since i didnt have cash. I got them at money gram so i don't know why they say that, but

BANK OF AMERICA JUST TOLD ME I CAN NEVER OPEN ANY ACCOUNT WITH THEM FOREVER. so i guess i will be without them for 70 years :(. Anyways they reported me to chexsystems for nfs overdrafts and suspicious account activity which i never did any paypal things so that sucks.

LEARNED MY LESSON! PAY ON TIME QUICK TO BANKS.

Question? will i be able to open an account with bank of america maybe 5 years or 10 years in the later future with them or for sure im a gonner like tons of people also?

P.S: I lost my legit paypal account this same month may in the same week - LOL! Omg :( SUCKS!

I sympathize with you but the Bank of America does NOT suck. Why you playing around with the bank like that? When a bank says you have suspicious activity unless you PROVE otherwise, you are in trouble with them so...sadly, you are flagged and I don't think you can ever do business with them again.

You need to really change your attitude with banks - now your chexsystems score is going to be flagged - so many problems for what? 2k overdraft? some nsf and suspicious money orders?

H*ll, reading your post makes you look VERY sketch. You need to rethink your business plan bud.

So the short answer to your question is No, highly unlikely the way info stays in the system these days. There are ways around but that is beyond the scope of this post.

All the best - seriously, rethink what you are doing.

Boa = Bank of america told me the chexsystems will stay in there for 5 years then it will be gone. Well Im not playing around with the bank, but i mean dam it was a one time thing 2k overdrafted and i seriously coudn't pay. I cared and as soon as I got some money I paid which was this month may. I know bank of america rules if your fine with them, but they suck because they just closed me out like that. Give a person a second chance I mean wow.

Money orders = I bought the money orders at walmart and just put them straight into my bank thinking it would clear my bank sameday, but it took like a week for it to clear since they said since my account has been overdrafted they take time to cash in. There can be nothing to be suspicious about that. I will talk with some lawyers and get that fixed if possible. I am doing nothing wrong and I have evidence to prove it.

Sketch? Im just stating out what happened to me. Im not doing anything crazy or out of the law. I didn't have any money so it took me sometime to get the money and I paid it off.

Yea, good luck to me.

In 03 my wife had a problem with a bank to where we owed $600 for a past overdraft and to this day she cannot open any bank account of any kind until that is payed off and lifted.

We have tried literally 30-40 different banks around the country and all come back with a notice saying that this has caused a problem and we cannot open the account.

Luckily my name was off of the account or I would be screwed as well. I know we just need to pay it but I am just stating what has happened to us.

I dont think your ONLY problem is going to be BOA.

I don't owe the 2k anymore. I paid it off. I just paid it 3 months after the overdraft so boa closed me out there system and got reported to chexsystems for overdrafts with them.

Chexsystems only remains on for 5 years, but during this time you can feel free to open savings accounts at almost any bank if you need to do transfers or clear checks. And, as mentioned, even if you are in chexsystems, a banker who is on your side can push anything through. Dont give up hope just because of BOA. Also, tons of banks have "opportunity" checkings accounts where if you have nothing bad for 6 months they upgrade you to a full account. Problem solved. And of course, this is regardless if you have 1 or 6 closed accounts on chexsystems for overdrafts or worse.

Your 2k overdraft sounds like 2k loan, they werent getting interest on. I can see why they wouldnt want that kind of risk on their books.

With that said, BoA isn't that great of bank. But good luck getting a checking account with problems on the chex system.
