Default VeRO items.. does paypal know?

Will paypal know if you are selling VeRO items?
Or is it only if ebay reports it? Yes ebay may find out, but I'm not sure if Paypal will find out without ebay reporting them.

Can paypal find out just by themselves?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

There is a VERY Simple way to look at this,,Since Ebay AND Paypal are Part of the SAME Company,,EVERYTHING Ebay knows, Paypal Does Too,,and Vice Versa

If this is a question about paypal, why was it in the ebay subforum?

Also, you should be looking to NOT selling vErO. It is too risky for an account

Ebay doesn't naturally know. They only find out if you get reported by someone or by the actual company. If Ebay finds out, then paypal will find out since they will report it. Paypal can't just find out without a report right? That was my main question. . Now you can answer my question.

Yup my next bet is to stay away from VeRO.
Like if you sell on your own website a VeRO item, paypal wouldn't know would they unless someone files a claim?

Thanks.

What you are doing is underestimating paypal.

paypal 'see' what you had for breakfast.

paypal become aware of a payment coming into an account for a certain value. (Nothing is defined). paypal has parameters that 'examine' the transaction. Such a transaction 'flags' the account.

Should the 'flags' be high enough, paypal will have high odds of making an ID of what is being sold.....

Now i have been using paypal since B4 ebay purchased them. I know positively that what 'we' might think is slipping under their radar has the potential to do harm.

Dont rely on assumptions.

So paypal has a system that detects it all?
What if it's the actual items that is genuine? What will they do? Flag it as VeRO? And if you have no receipts that that's bad luck for you right?
I'm just curious.

I've sold hundreds of the same VeRO item on my main paypal before I knew this forum. Ebay reported me 4 times and I got permanently suspended. My brother made an account when I was at my 3rd limitation with ebay. Then my bro sold a lot and got limited by ebay and paypal.
I also got limited after him. Either because they thought something was linked or because of the items I sold. It did ask me to provide proof of merchandise.

I will try to avoid selling VeRO.

Anyway, is it safe to sell generic items that don't have a brand name or have a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ brand name?

Yes paypal can see your ebay account, I've spoke with them before to get holds released and the lady on the phone searched through my feedback and new exactly what I was selling since your ebay listing shows up in the paypal transaction.

Also look alikes without the brand name are called knock-offs which is also trade mark infringement, I asked ebay personally while on the phone and that's what they told me.

I feel like too many people are using the term VeRO to refer to something else, which mean two different things.

I sell a VeRO product, with legitimate United States distributor invoices, so I have never had issues.

People need to stop using the term VeRO incorrectly.

Good point, I think it's pretty much become a slang word for ⊗⊗⊗⊗ in the forums when used by itself, if legitimate then they usually specify that like you did yourself.

I've seen it mixed together a lot in the past week or too and it can really cause some confusion, especially for those who aren't experienced or haven't used the forums.

Plus, I don't think it's appropriate to mix the two, because as stated before, many legit people can sell VeRO as long as you have legitimate invoices and/or are approved by the VeRO member.

I think you're right, might be hard for some long term members to get rid of it's slang meaning, including myself but at least the info is here for them.

So VeRO is the genuine product right? Or is VeRO a generic and not real product with the brand name on it?

Are REAL iphones considered VeRO?

I know there are not real iphones, but I'm referring to genuine apple iphones.

Also for some of your "VeRO" items you get from legit destributors, were you asked by paypal to provide proof of merchandise and/ or invoices? When that happens do they also ask for SSN or do they ask for anything else other than invoice proof?
Thanks.

I have been slated on these forums for my views on VERO items and ⊗⊗⊗⊗. The reason we are all having the problems that we are can be traced back to VERO and ⊗⊗⊗⊗. IMHO that can not be argued against
