It depends on your needs and what you're selling. One payment processor / merchant account might work great for someone else but not another person. Most service providers don't like VeRO items, but you can sometimes get around that.

Well just about any payment processor / merchant should work fine for you then, even PayPal.

If you don't have a shopping cart already, try e-junkie, it can integrate with multiple payment processors and make it easier on your buyer with payment buttons.

Plimus is a good option, check into that. Maybe jump onto oDesk and have them handle payment processing.

You have a lot of options out there.

Google dont like proxies. You are using one arent you?

So if you are pretending to be in the USA but are from somwhere else, then Google close accounts. If you do not access google checkout with a 'safe' IP, then you run the risk of getting the account closed.

Google does that for their security.

Based on the info in this thread I would say don't use a proxy and don't sell vero, you said you were selling services so that leaves the proxy, which means you would need to get rid of the proxy and use a real ip.

No issues using Google Checkout for me from overseas, but all of my US info. is legit so that could be the reason. Wish they would allow us to keep a balance though to have a reserve for possible refunds.

GCO is a tough cookie, just really use your real information, is really hard to get kicked off GCO because you can always verify your account.

If your going stealth then you may break a bunch of rules even concerning their security. Remember, PayPal is one thing Google is another, they are not piggies waiting for your every cent (pp). I never had a charge back, disputes or nothing on google been there since 2008, sold xx,xxx of items even more than pp. When I verify them my information they never bother again. Have two stealth account, I'm gonna closed instead.

Aye, aspkin said that in 2011.

Still applies today.

Except I understand they call themselves Google Wallet these days.
