So I need to receive money via Paypal and I would like to know if anyone from experience can help me out. Would Paypal limit a new US verified account if it received $1k-$3k in a single payment?

Be ready for it. That's definitely risky unless your account is doing this activity all the time.

Very likely, would be best to split the payments up if possible between different accounts or use a different payment method.

Hmm..well a company is paying me for my commissions, and I need to enter a single Paypal email address. They pay on an automated system, so I can't tell them to send some to each account, or to the same account over the course of X days.
