In the UK they don't - I assume yours is a UK account

They "say" 200 sales or 20k in revenue for US pa yp al BUT a lot depends on what you selling. If risky analysis points to your account as being risky, bam you will be hit.

I don't know about UK but I am sure similar practice.

They can request your SSN anytime they want in reality. It can range anything from following improper stealth procedures leading to linking, as well as making too fast of sales.

I really dont know when they are supposed to ask either. I have hit 20k and went by it weeks ago and never been asked.

I am expecting it but still nothing.

No complaints here, Just letting people know that there isnt a rule that they will ask for it before the 20k like everyone alsays said would happen.

I plan to run a tight ship in terms of going stealth (no VERO items, high risk electronics etc) and want to do no more than £6-8K in sales per steath account, does this sound alright in terms of avoiding the dreaded SSN request?

Even if you were in the US, there is no dollar amount that causes them to ask.
