So I am in the process of expanding sales with starting my website alongside ebay. I have google checkout right now attached but alot of customers are still asking for paypal. I do have a paypal that is connected to my ebay account and wanted to know if its safe to setup the gateway for Paypal to collect payments on my website? My domain is set to private so they can't see my real info. But is there any other way that paypal may connect me to past bad accounts from 4 years ago?

I don't see how they would link your accounts if you have no references of it whatsoever on your website. It might still be a safer idea to use a new account nevertheless
the IP the payments would come from is through the website. They won't link you unless they decide to go to your website and check out all the info. Even then, you could just say you are employed by the website as the financial administrator and the website belongs to another person.
