no they will not ban you for that unless it happens a lot. but they can ssuspend you for whatever reason they want but i dont think this will raise any flags for you on the first one. i think you are ok. they can just see this for you as you are learning and whatnot.

i wouldnt worry about itunless your returns got out of hand completely

Depends on what type of return they are. If the buyer simply doesn't want the item, it should be fine. If the buyer opened up a dispute and is asked to return the item because it is significantly not as described, then it WILL affect your account after a certain percentage/frequency

High number of SNAD cases will end your account quickly.

Yes. If they are putting in claims via eb/pp through the dispute system, too many will bring you down.
If you are doing refunds manually, then you should be ok, but its still not a good look if pp look into you acc. for some reason.

Been known for ebay to suspend an account like that. BUT they become really sneaky and make the suspension 'generic'. Becomes impossible to work out exactly.

Although you may be 'refunding' (and good for you), ebay go silly. The account gets 'flagged'.

paypal will toss up what to do with the account. they too will see it as blemished.

Options: ask yourself quickly why this happened?
Items no good?-----> new supplier yesterday.
Mix the listings with 'safe' items until every improves.

You are on a fine line: the account may go or with effort you save it.
Look carefully at what to do. I say that to make sure you realize it is better to save an account rather than have it suspended. Consider just buying on it.
Pain to do. But that's our game

You make new stealth accounts and let this account COOL DOWN - maybe few low end sales to help boost feedback. Take it slow - it is still possible to salvage.

If a buyer or buyers alerts them to the fact they will look at it manually and if they do not like what they see they will either take it down or suspend you until you can get the issues resolved somehow.

Move on to other accounts and like rost posted let it rest for a few months.
