Phone verification for paypal....they only care about area code matching?

Ok, What exactly am I supposed to do....they want to verify that my phone number matches my address......so are they only making sure that my area code is in the same area????? They dont and never had one of my cell phone numbers.....cant I just use that???

How do they want to verify it - by calling? or providing statement? I don`t follow. Area code is important to pa yp al and should match your vicinity.

Says "phone number matches your address".......so guessing just by calling and giving me PIN.....only have a cell phone.....would that work????

uugggghhh!! Ok, it says they have to verify the bank statement matches my phone verification or whatever......the address on the bank is THIS address which is not useable.......what do I do????
