They can be nice but also complete pr*cks

I personally think they rip us off with fees and I hate the fact they make so much interest when they are holding our money from us

Paypal can be annoying. I mean they don't really do much wrong. It's just if you have ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info than it can be a bit of a situation.

Paypal has made it easy for me to make a living. That is the only one people will trust to pay with so it is good. There are tons of things that are completely BS with them but IF you dont do stupid things you dont have problems.

I NEVER have issues with them. You wont either UNLESS you do something stupid like not send a package on time or sell something ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and the buyer complains.

You cannot tell me that if you sell non vero type items and treat all your customers well that paypal has hassled you very much.

I am sure many of you will claim the opposite but step back and look at what you are really doing and you will see it easily why you are getting troubled.

Post on here what you did and people like me will gladly tell you what you did wrong.

NO I am not a huge fan of their rules at all either, People that understand the laws, etc understand why paypal does what they do.

do I wish there was something better??? hell yes. but now this is the best thing we have.

I do not sell vero. I have always treated my customers very well. And Yes, Paypal has hassled me "Very much"

Once I hit about 130 feedback, 5 years into Selling with not one neg, I never had an issue with them that I can recall. I've never been banned from any venue

YET... despite that, I would've never be presumptuous enough to state what you just did.

I remember when PayPal first started out and it marketed itself as a friendly person-to-person money exchange service, and it was fantastic. It was incredibly simple and good value for money too. Then it got bought by eBay (anyone remember Billpoint?) and became a corporate monster; by 2004 it was completely unrecognisable from the original site.

I don't have a problem with PayPal, without their services I could not maintain a second income, but I don't agree with their over zealous policies. Many people on here sell f akes and I completely understand why PayPal terminates their accounts but for many others (like me) we've done nothing wrong but are deemed too risky. I had a 9 year old account (100% feedback, 4.9 DSRs) NARU'd because of the high risk involved. It is nonsensical. They apply absolutely no common sense to any cases.

I also dislike the way they request a million documents from their users, and the site is usually always slow and buggy. Oh, and they hide behind the laws of Luxembourg (PayPal Europe anyway) because they know they would have a much tougher time enforcing some of their outrageous policies if they were based in the UK or Germany.

They will be obsolete within 10 years though I reckon. I think the big banks will come up with their own person-to-person money services very soon, and eventually PayPals market share will crumble drastically. They know at the moment they can get away with treating their customers like ****, but eventually other options will be available and then they'll start lowering fees and getting rid of some draconian rules.

I hate paypal how they rape us in fees because our options are limited. I hate how paypal uses our money like a bank, but then hides behind "we are not a bank" theory when it suits them.
It bugs me that they charge $4.95 for money pak activation so that you could spend money on ebay. Triple dip id say... I hate how paypal wants to know all my suppliers info for use I know is not good for me. The list goes on and on...

I like paypal cause they are part of the plan to make a second income....

I hate paypal because they are owned by ebay..

I find them OK

I don't have the problems others on here have but I do operate under super super stealth.

I earn money, I get paid and funds are in my accounts within 48 hours.

Expensive but I can live with it

Personally I hate Paypal. I think they are gaining too much power not to be an actual bank. You can even purchase airline tickets using Paypal! Wow!

But, if you want to make money online, it seems that Paypal is blocking out the competition. I don't trust giving my SSN # to anyone that is not an actual bank.

What are our alternatives if you want to be on eBay? A merchant account?

Yeah but you know why they ask that from you. They only bug certain people for that info.

This should sum it up.........

People selling F A K E S H I T love it at first, because it is the only way to make money in their slimy scummy lifes, then once everyone complains they hate paypal.

People selling legit, or regular non vero items have no issues other then the occational dumbass.

No possible way you could state your accusation "I did something wrong" as fact

Thus you are UNTRUTHFUL, DECEIVING and a FALSE ACCUSER

Just like the ebay scammers.

At best... you have impure motives. shame on you
