We put limits on accts... (blah blah blah)--
then, you must LINK your paypal acct to list this item, or you must open a paypal acct..

**Work around-- I just chnaged up the title ,scrambled the letters, and it did not end up a relist, but it listed, i had to upload photos again,, but got it to go..

Nice work, yeah most of these go on keywords you choose in your title, and categories you list in. Go EBay!!

It seems, after reading every post i can get my hands on about vero items, that ebay is easier to fool than paypal. People who use ebay/paypal are able to list their items, but just have trouble takign their money out of paypal, cause when they see some heavy money flowing through, they limit you. However, if you sell vero items on ebay but accept payment with a merch account it is much easier to keep the money. The only problem with that is some customers shy away from 3rd party merchants.
This however can be changed if someone could get their hands on a vero item verified sellers certificate from which we can forge to use as proof for paypal.
Does ebay ask for this certificate aswell? Do 3rd party merchant accounts?

Try ccnow. It has really worked out for me so far. Just sucks that they hold your money for a month the first time.

try asking ebatehateluv, shes the queen of ccnow. Or just pretend that you accept paypal, but send them a ccnow auction at the end.

chris, ivegotinfo proposed that awhile ago to help us out here. I think it's a great idea, but then we go back to the issue of proxy's working. You could use one to sign up for pp, eb, and to verify etc, and then do most of your work through auctiva which supports canadian ebay customers also.

CCnow is a third-party online payment processor that lets you accept Paypal without actually having a Paypal account. I used to use it briefly, and its fine if you don't mind waiting every two weeks or whatever to receive your money.

Activity: 0% Longevity: 94% | | New account + vero items + PayPal. You must sell with PayPal if you sell VERO items?
How do sellers get around th selling on eBay on a new account, vero items (whatever they might be) and having to take PayPal?? I tried on a newbie account just to see what would happen. Not an expensive Vero, but vero nonetheless. As soon as the listing ended and the payment came in, my PayPal was limited and they requested all that BS information, social, etc. in order to remove the limited. Do you have to let the accounts season or a while, selling lesser items and buying stuff using the PayPal account or?? Any suggestions would be great.

My memory of your first posts were that you had a bit of an attitude. Much mellowed now I hasten to add.
Back off a bit on some of the users that have not as many posts as you. Correct me if I am wrong but I notice that most of your questions get a helpful answer?
Try yourself.

Activity: 0% Longevity: 96% | | VERO items + 0 feedback account = Abusing eBay suspension
I did a bit of testing the waters with a few accounts in the past days. It seems that eBay suspends all accounts with 0 feedback that list a brand name item. No matter how old. I tested it with several accounts and found this: Quote:
Account 1 (0 feedback, 2 months old US account):
1. Listed 4 no-brand items. They sold fine.
2. Waited 5 days and listed an item of which the trademark holder is an eBay 'VERO' member.
3. Within 15 minutes, the account was suspended with the "Abusing eBay" message.
Account 2 (0 feedback, 1 month old Japan account):
1. Listed an item of which the trademark holder is an eBay 'VERO' member.
2. Within 5 minutes, the account was suspended, also with the "Abusing eBay" message.
Account 3 (1 feedback, 20 days old US account):
1. Listed the same VERO item, for 3 days, sold without problems.
Account 4 (4 feedback, 2 months old Japan account):
1. Listed the same VERO item, for 5 days, sold without problems.
| From the above, you can see I lost 2 '0 feedback' accounts with the same item that sold fine with the 2 other accounts that did have 1 and 4 feedback each. I even used the same pictures, the same description and everything, down to the same title and subtitle for the listing.
I think eBay has some kind of "auto-kill" system for '0 feedback' accounts that list items which belong to their VERO program members. My guess is they do that to keep the watching they need to do down to a minimum, by immediately suspending the new accounts that list a risky item, so they only need to keep a human eye on the other already established (1+ feedback) accounts.
