Default Does paypal require a credit card?

Hello, I'm trying to make a paypal stealth account.

Do I need a credit card(VCC) in order to start selling on ebay, or can I just use a bank account(VBA).

or if the situation was vice-versa?

thanks!

I am currently using a paypal verified by a vba only to sell stuff on ebay.

With a VCC, you can either:
1. get an ebay vcc and register it on ebay when you are registering for a seller account, for the part where they ask you to enter an option to pay seller fees
2. get a paypal vcc and link it to your paypal, after you successfully enter the expuse number, of course. you can now link your paypal to an ebay as a seller fee payment option and start selling on ebay. however, your paypal account is not verified and ebay sees that as a risk.

BEWARE... many many many vccs from different providers for some reason got blocked by paypal this past week. so if youre looking to buy a VCC, buyer beware.

i would suggest just getting the VBA to verify your paypal account, as it is safe and it is what i am currently doing. the only downside of this is that you can not withdraw more than $500 from your paypal to a real bank account every month, unless you have a credit/debit card or vcc linked to your paypal.

Okay, thanks! I think I will just be getting an ebay VCC and paypal VBA to verify my account.

It depends on what you want. If you dont play on selling more than 500 dollars or so per month you wouldn't need to do much. You will want to get verified of course and that requires you to use a AVS VCC, (address verified system).

Normally, an "ebay" vcc won't be good enough. Check with your VCC vendor. If you need more help PM me. I got ya.
